WAY BACK HOME

This 3D sculpture made with Sculpey demonstrates my experiences with BLM, a decentralized political and social movement. The black box with Martin Luther King’s speech printed expresses the closed space of racism, representing our racial intricacies as Black and Asian people in America. The mirrors facing each other create an infinite ending while Geroge Floyd and the figure stand for all humanity facing racial prejudice.
